Posted by npdreadhead

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - June 9, 2009 (WPVI) -- Gunfire in three Philadelphia neighborhoods and at a Delaware state industrial park has left four people dead.

At about 3:30 on Tuesday morning, someone shot a 20-year-old man several times.

He was gunned down along the 2600 block of Marshall Street in North Philadelphia.

About two hours earlier, a shootout near the corner of 56th Street and Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia left two people wounded.

One of them -- a 17-year-old boy -- died from his wounds. He had been shot repeatedly.

The second person is being treated at Mercy Hospital for a shoulder wound.

At 10:30 Monday night, someone shot a man in the head near the corner of 20th and Reed in South Philadelphia.

The victim died at the hospital.

Just before two o'clock on Tuesday morning, two people were shot inside a building at the Newport Industrial Park on Falco Drive in Newport, Delaware.

Medics took the two men -- in their 20's -- to a local hospital.

One of them died.

As with the murders in Philadelphia, Delaware investigators have not indicated if they have any motives or suspects in the case.
